We started fishing today around 10am after the run up to Alligator Point in the perfect calm sunny weather. The water was blue and 83.5 degrees. It wasn’t long until we hooked into a 30# wahoo on the right flat down rod with a YoZuri Bonita Plug. Good start.
The barracudas put in some work on us until around noon the magic happened! We had some fast and furious action with wahoo bite after bite. The sharks were fierce unfortunately making work on our screaming wahoos and we pulled the hook on a couple but managed to box one more.
The action slowed down a lot so we spent the last hour and a half bottom fishing catching some rock hinds and small snappers to round out the day with something else to eat for dinner.
