Today we ran out to start our day in the Lindenkohl Canyon. The water was 77 degrees and green. As we were setting out in the grey light we got piled on by a nice yellowfin tuna. We boated that one that was around 55-60 pounds and worked the area and nothing. The wind picked up out of the West to a solid 20 and it got choppy fast. We trolled the canyon looking for something new but ended up pot hopping for Mahi and put plenty in the boat.
Since it was quiet we ran inside to the deep water reef and tried for sea bass for the last hour and a half but we caught nothing but shorts. Water temp inside was 63 degrees. Not a bad first trip offshore though for Wesley and Tyler. Fun trip.
